Chapter II: Introductions

At first glance, the art teacher seemed rather normal. She was a woman of average height with grey eyes, a soft smile, and a simple black ladies work suit. That is...if you didn't count her blue hair, labret piercing, and heavy ultra-marine eye shadow. In addition, she wore an origami flower in her hair, though that, Ren didn't seem to mind at all. In fact, she had loved flowers ever since she was younger, especially white ones.

The teacher gazed over her class before turning to write her name on the whiteboard. In beautiful handwritten calligraphy, it read: Ms. Tenshi. She turned around once more, still holding the dry-erase marker in one hand and introduced herself.
"Good morning class! My name is Ms. Tenshi, as most of you already know, I will be your homeroom and art teacher for the next four years. I hope you'll like it here."

It took Ren a few moments to notice that during the entire duration of her introduction, Ms. Tenshi had been staring straight at her. She tensed slightly in embarrassment to the amusement of Deidara, who laughed and patted her on the back lightly.
"Heh! Don't worry! She does that to the newbies every year, un! No need to be embarrassed."

She nodded and regained her confidence, smiling to him. "Thanks..."

Then, Ms. Tenshi pointed the marker directly in Ren's position. "You must be our new student! Why don't you come up and introduce yourself? We have a little tradition here for our new additions to the art room..." She grinned slyly much to Ren's despair.

She walked nervously up to the front of the room where she faced the class. She put on her brightest smile and bowed respectively to her upperclassmen. "Hello! My name is Ren Mato. It's nice to meet you all." The moment she straightened back up, the teacher smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"See, that wasn't so bad now, was it?"
Ren smiled back. "No..not at all."

Back at the tables she noticed all the sudden grins of the upperclassmen in the room, especially the wide one displayed by Deidara. She knew something was coming, but what it was, she had absolutely no idea.

That's when she felt another hand lay itself on her opposite shoulder. A smooth teenage male voice rang through her ears. "Nice to meet you too...Ren-chan.."
